Forget about NFTs: mint your digital goods in a snap
Content creators have seen in Web3 an opportunity to monetize their content (or “digital goods”). The promise of decentralization, privacy and content ownership offered by Web3 has been tempting; the idea that a content owner does not need the permission of a network to make content accessible to however and whenever they decide, is pretty much aligned with the desire of authenticating and monetizing without being limited by the rules of big corporations who- at the end- own their content. Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are a mechanism to achieve this. An NFT is a digital “proof of ownership” that can be transferred from the creators to their sponsors as part of a content-purchase transaction.
